99 days to go!

Well, I've been terrible about updating these past two weeks, but the good news is I realized we only have 99 days to go now! We're in the DOUBLE DIGITS, people!

This past weekend, we travelled to Minneapolis to attend baby Teaghan's baptism. Adam is now officially a godfather. I keep having visions of Marlon Brando, but Adam looked nothing like that:
Teaghan was an absolute angel. She hated getting dressed in her gown, but slept through the entire ceremony.

On the way to Minneapolis, we stopped in North Liberty, IA to get a bunch of baby stuff from my friend. Where once there was nothing, now there's a stockpile of goods:

The good news is there's very little we still need. We're making note of what we have and determining what we still need so we can create our baby registry. The one thing we're sure of for a registry is actually a Cord Blood Bank registry. We realize this might be controversial because it's kind of like asking for money, which can be construed as tacky. After considering both of our family histories and Adam's history of cancer and heart disease, we decided it best to bank. We just don't know how far medicine will come and they're making strides every day in finding new ailments to treat with cord blood and tissue. We look at it as an insurance policy we hope to never use.

Back to the trip to Minneapolis - it was a whirlwind, but it was fun. We were both exhausted on Monday when we got back. In fact, I actually went to bed at 7:45pm (as embarassing as that is). At least we got some practice in!

I don't have a picture commemorating 99 days, but I do have the pictures I owe you from the past two Fridays.

24 weeks:
25 weeks:

And I discovered while visiting the Mall of America's Destination Maternity store that Adam is about as far along as I am! He's due around mid-November ;)
